TIGRE PORTABANDIERA PER L'ITALIA!!!!

Come ha scritto la mia amica Silvia Dall'Aere (anzi... visto che ci sono, cliccate QUI e andate a vedere che cosa ha combinato a Birmingham ultimamente, bravissima!!), il mio quilt con la testa di tigre tratta dal famoso dipinto di Ligabue, di cui ho lungamente trattato in vari post su questo blog e che ha ricevuto anche un ambitissimo riconoscimento negli USA (cliccate QUI e saprete tutto), ha fatto da PORTABANDIERA per l'ITALIA al FESTIVAL OF QUILTS di BIRMINGHAM terminato da pochi giorni!!!!

UN VERO ONORE!!!!!!!

UNA GRANDISSIMA SODDISFAZIONE!!!!!!
UNA GROSSA RESPONSABILITA'!!! 
Rappresentare il mio paese in una manifestazione di tale spessore per me ha significato veramente tantissimo, uno dei  traguardi indubbiamente più importanti che ho ottenuto in questi anni!!

With Quilters’ Guilds across Europe represented, the Diversity In Europe gallery is an opportunity to see some of the outstanding work of artists from 17 different countries.  With each Guild only able to select one piece to represent their country, it is set to be an interesting and stunning example of quilt making at its finest.
